Our School Day

The school gates are opened at 8.30am and children can walk independently through the school grounds into their classroom. Children using the drop off zone will be accompanied by a Year 6 child to their classroom. Gates close promptly at 8:45am. Any families arriving after this time will need to take their child/children to the main reception and sign them in at the late desk.

Reception, Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2

The school day starts at 8.45am and finishes at 3.15pm.

Break time : 10.30 am - 10.45am

Lunch times : Infants eat from 11.45am until 12.15pm. Juniors eat from 12.15 until 1.00pm, with classes on a rota.

Assemblies

These take place throughout the week as a whole school with a parent assembly for each class once a year. Whole school assemblies will include times of stories, music (singing songs), discussions and visitors. On a Friday we will hold our Farley Hill Primary celebration assembly.

Nursery

15 hour placements:

Pupils will attend Nursery either for the morning session: 8.30am - 11.30am or for the afternoon session 12.30pm - 3.30pm.

30 hour placements:

Pupils will attend for both the morning and afternoon sessions

Lunchtime - Picnic club 11.30am - 12.30pm

Children will eat their packed lunch in the main hall under the supervision of the nursery staff

Before and After School Provision

There is a Breakfast Club and After School Club available for Farley Hill Primary School. This provision is run by our Wraparound Care team run by Mrs.Hudson and Mrs.Castle .
