Art and Design
The arts are at the heart of our curriculum at Farley Hill. Our high-quality art and design curriculum engages, inspires and challenges children, equipping them with the knowledge and skills to experiment, invent and create their own works of art, craft and design. As children progress, they are able to think critically and develop a more rigorous understanding of art and design. Through our creative curriculum planning our children experience a wide range of artists and designers throughout history and across the world.
The children contribute to the culture and creativity of our school through our annual Artsweek and invited artists who create projects with the children. Art is valued and celebrated throughout the school through high quality displays and cross-curricular lessons.
