At Farley Hill it is our intention that all children understand the nature of religion and acquire an understanding of the beliefs, practices and strengths of all faiths, including those represented in our school with a strong Christian ethos. Each year the children follow our Discovery R.E. programme, which brings R.E. to life through fun and engaging learning which encourages class discussion and questioning.
We have assemblies every day, as a whole school. This is a chance to come together as a school community, to learn about different faiths and festivals, to reflect on important ideas or to celebrate achievements. We emphasise the aims and values of our school and seek to promote children’s spiritual, moral, social and cultural development.
We have religious visitors to the school to enhance our learning and visit various places of worship.
