Our School Day

Reception, Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2

The school day starts at 8.50am and finishes at 3.10pm. The school gates open at 8.35am and the drop off zone starts at 8.35am. 

Break time : 10.30 am - 10.45am

Lunch times : Infants eat from 11.45am until 12.15pm. Juniors eat from 12.15 until 1.00pm, with classes on a rota. 

Assemblies

These take place throughout the week as a whole school with a parent assembly for each class once a year. Whole school assemblies will include times of stories, music (singing songs), discussions and visitors. On a Friday we will hold our Farley Hill Primary celebration assembly. 

Nursery

15 hour placements: 

Pupils will attend Nursery either for the morning session: 8.30am - 11.30am or for the afternoon session 12.30pm - 3.30pm. 

30 hour placements:

Pupils will attend for both the morning and afternoon sessions

Lunchtime - Picnic club 11.30am - 12.30pm

Children will eat their packed lunch in the main hall under the supervision of the nursery staff

Before and After School Provision

There is a Breakfast Club and After School Club available for Farley Hill Primary School. This provision is run by our external provider, BA Sports. Pupils from our Primary school are welcome to attend.
