Science
Through practical and investigative Science activities, our children experience a rich introduction to the three main areas of Science;
physics, chemistry and biology. To enhance our children's natural curiosity about the world around them we enable children, using real-life experiments, to discover, observe and problem solve within the creative Science curriculum.
We place great emphasis on raising questions, practical work and collaborative discussion, in groups and as a whole class, to develop skills of scientific enquiry.
Using our school environment (including the copse) and various visitors, visits to STEM events and other scientific centres we enable the children to be excited and challenged by Science in the real world.
